Gripande långfilmsdebut om en 10-årig flicka som hanterar sitt handikapp genom att spela skolteater.

Filmen handlar om tioåriga Phoebe som har Tourettes syndrom. Hon har svårt att anpassa sig till verkligheten, förutom när hon spelar huvudrollen i skolpjäsen, Alice i Underlandet. Då först känner hon att hon är den hon vill vara.
